November 25, 2009   Searching for a new employee can be a daunting task for any practice administrator.  Placing the advertisement, screening the resumes, telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews, and reference checks, this process has become more and more difficult for employers.   As a busy practice administrator I found myself this past year very frustrated with the entire process so I decided to make a change and utilize an employment agency.  Being a part of Monida Healthcare and knowing that they knew my practice and were well-established in the medical community, I choose to utilize their new staffing service.   What I found was Monida would do all the work and additional items that a practice of my size could not facilitate as easy, such as background checks, drug testing, and credit checks.  With embezzlement on the rise, this was very important to my practice.
