What documents do I need to prepare if I am a travel employee?

  • In order to become a Monida Healthcare Staffing Solutions travel employee, you are required to provide records of your MMR vaccinations, current TB, Hep B vaccination and current license verification.  A physical demands test, pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check will need to be completed prior to your first assignment.

How much experience do I need in the nursing field?

  • For travel nursing assignments, most facilities require and expect a minimum of one year clinical experience. However, we do place new graduate nurses and nurses with less experience in some of our facilities.

Will I select the shift I wish to work in advance?

  • Yes. We work around your schedule. If you are currently employed and are interested in picking up additional shifts outside of your prior commitments, that’s Okay. If you are interested in working long term contracts, that is what we will offer you. Monida offers contract, per diem, emergent and permanent assignments to fit your lifestyle.

Is there continued education assistance?

  • Yes. The number hours you work will earn you dollars toward continued education programs. If you are interested in continued education courses, we will provide you with a list, or try to find the specific program you are looking for.

Can I earn referral bonuses?
